This past weekend, CBC had the honor of participating in the Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival, during which our immensely talented Executive Chef Cody Dickey distributed a colorful and complex watermelon gazpacho.

While the finished product was both beautiful and delicious,  a lot of the fun was on the back end leading up to the event.

Starting with the base of the gazpacho, which was an heirloom tomato medley:

Smothered in watermelon gazpacho,  topped with pickled cucamelons and watermelon.

Straight from One Gun Ranch..

Each cup was topped with edible florals and micro greens from Fresh Origins.

And voila! A little garden of sorts!

And One Gun Ranch attended in other ways as well..

Before the event, Shelby graciously welcomed us to the ranch to create personalized herb boxes:
